We set aside plenty of time for your first visit because we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed as we get to know one another. When you arrive, one of our team members will greet you and give you a brief tour of our office. You will meet the members of our team, see our state-of-the-art sterilization center, treatment rooms, and lab.

You are then accompanied to a private consultation room to discuss your medical history, previous dental experiences and present concerns. We want to be thorough and address all of your expectations and goals.

You will then meet Dr. Wilbanks and proceed to a treatment area for a comprehensive dental examination. This examination will include:

• Necessary dental x-rays using digital radiography (using 90% less radiation than traditional x-rays)
• A full-mouth periodontal probing to detect gum disease
• Computerized charting of your teeth noting present restorations and areas of disease, bleeding, or other problems
• Oral cancer screening
• A thorough evaluation of your jawbone, facial musculature and bite
• TMJ joint examination
• Smile Evaluation

After your complete examination, Dr. Wilbanks will review the condition of your teeth, gums, muscle system, bite, TMJ's, previous dental work, and esthetics. He will discuss treatment options and answer your questions. We believe that by being well-informed, you will be able to make the best decisions concerning your treatment goals.
